01 / Electrical Connections

Power, Temperature and Humidity Signals

FG6010 requires a 12–36V DC supply. Temperature and humidity are provided as separate analog voltage signals for compatible input channels.

Supply positive
Connect to the DC supply positive terminal.
Supply negative
Connect to the DC supply negative terminal; follow the receiving device's requirements for signal reference and common.
Temperature output
Connect to a compatible analog voltage input.
Humidity output
Connect to a separate compatible analog voltage input.
02 / Temperature Range

Set the Range and Configure Input Scaling

The DIP switches select the temperature measuring range. Use the switch positions shown in the diagram for your required range.

  1. Select the required temperature range before powering the installation.
  2. Confirm whether your transmitter is configured for 0–10V or 0–5V output.
  3. Set the receiving device's input range and temperature scaling to match.

Example: If the transmitter is set to 0–50°C, configure the temperature input for the same 0–50°C measuring range and the ordered voltage output.

Air Temperature and Humidity Signals for Your Equipment

Use FG6010 where air temperature and relative humidity need to be measured and supplied to compatible analog voltage inputs.

Duct Air Measurement

HVAC & Ventilation Ducts

Position the probe inside the duct to measure air temperature and relative humidity at the sensing point. Check the probe dimensions, insertion position and flange mounting space against your duct installation.

Equipment Integration

Air Handling & Ventilation Equipment

Supply temperature and humidity measurements to an equipment controller that accepts the ordered voltage output. Choose the temperature range to suit the air conditions being measured and configure the controller's input scaling to match.

Analog Voltage Inputs

PLCs & Data Acquisition Equipment

Connect the temperature and humidity outputs to separate compatible analog input channels. Confirm the accepted voltage range, signal reference and power supply before selecting the transmitter configuration.

Frequently Asked Questions

Answers about voltage outputs, controller compatibility, measuring ranges and flange installation.

Does FG6010 provide 0–10V or 0–5V output?

The standard configuration provides 0–10V analog voltage outputs for temperature and humidity. A 0–5V configuration is available on request. Specify the required output when ordering so it matches your receiving equipment.

The temperature range DIP switches are used to select the measuring range, not to select between these output configurations.

Can FG6010 connect to my PLC or controller?

It can connect to equipment with compatible analog voltage inputs. Reading both temperature and humidity requires separate input channels for the two signals. Check the accepted voltage range, signal reference and input scaling.

FG6010 needs a 12–36V DC supply. Send us the receiving device's model or input specifications if you need help checking the match.

How do I select the temperature measuring range?

Use the DIP switch positions shown in the wiring and range selection diagram . The available ranges are 0–50°C, −20–80°C, −40–60°C and −40–120°C, with 0–50°C as the default setting.

Configure the receiving device's temperature scaling to match the selected range and the ordered voltage output.

Can the probe measure water or other liquids?

FG6010 measures air temperature and relative humidity. The sensing probe should be exposed to the air being measured and must not be immersed in water or other liquids.

If the installation is exposed to condensation or direct spray, describe the conditions so we can check suitability before you order.

What mounting configuration is shown on this page?

This page shows the flange-mounted configuration. Check the probe dimensions, duct opening, insertion position and available flange mounting space against the installation drawing.

Position the sensing end in representative airflow and plan the cable route to the supply and receiving equipment.

Does FG6010 require an RS485 communication protocol?

FG6010 is the analog voltage output model. The receiving equipment reads the temperature and humidity voltage signals through its analog inputs. Setup involves matching the wiring, voltage input range and measurement scaling.

If your equipment requires an RS485 connection, include that requirement in your inquiry so we can help you select the appropriate model.
